| Description of project funded by grant: | The project equips North Texas Christians to understand and combat Christian nationalism—a political ideology that distorts faith and threatens democracy. Through awareness, education, resources, and storytelling, we address its harmful impact on communities, especially vulnerable groups like school children, migrants, women, people of color, and the LGBTQ community. By resisting Christian nationalism, we help preserve democracy and foster a compassionate, flourishing society for all. In the future, we will continue to raise support for expanded impact and program growth. As an example of this commitment, BJC has already secured $8,330.51 from twenty individual donors in the current fiscal year, with nearly $30,000 more in forthcoming pledges, including planned matching/challenge gifts. |
